VersiPave®GP

What is VersiPave® GP

VersiPave® GP is a lightweight, high strength plastic paver support designed to eliminate the use of sand when laying pavers, resulting in reduced weight-bearing loads on building structures.

VersiPave® GP paver supports are used in the construction of roofs, plaza decks, balconies, pool surrounds, reflective pools and verandas.

VersiPave® GP incorporates integrated snap-on chocks, each adjustable in height from 24 mm to 34 mm. The height may be increased with the use of proprietary “extenders”.

VersiPave® GP allows the easy placement of most pavers such as granite, marble, precast concrete and porcelain where a well drained and level surface is required.

VersiPave® GP reduces sound transmission, increases heat insulation and allows unsightly services to be concealed within the cavity under the elevated platform allowing easy access to waterproofing membranes and services, when required.

* Any product warranty for VersiPave is voided where pavers are supported beyond 35mm without the use of Elmich proprietary extenders.

Choose VersiPave ® GP for An Exceptional Floor

Sensational looking paving that stands the test of time starts with the system you choose to support your pavers. You need strength, durability, and optimum drainage and waterproofing, from your paving, and VersiPave ® GP provides this. VersiPave ® GP is an adjustable polypropylene support system that achieves a well-drained, level surface for your floor. These polypads are designed to use with a variety of floor materials and pavers, including 20 mm porcelain tiles. They’re quick and easy to install, and extremely strong and durable.

Where can you use VersiPave ® GP?

You can use VersiPave ® GP just about anywhere from patios and pool surrounds to pedestrian walkways and commercial rooftops. For maximum durability, use polypads with porcelain tiles; they are exceptionally strong and available in a huge range of different styles to suit a variety of environments.

You don’t need to use sand when installing polypads, which means a reduced load. This makes them ideal when you need to install pavers on building structures; VersiPave ® GP is ideal for roof gardens, roof terraces, and balconies.

What are the benefits of using VersiPave ® GP,  Polypad?

With VersiPave ® GP, you achieve a raised floor. You can conceal unsightly services like plumbing and electrical wiring in the cavity beneath the elevated platform. You still have easy access to waterproofing membranes and other underfloor features when needed.

As well as allowing optimum drainage, the cavity maximises air ventilation, increases heat insulation, and reduces sound transmission. Since the polypad are made from polypropylene, they are lightweight and unaffected by moulds and algae.

How much of a cavity will there be under the elevated platform?

Polypads have an adjustable height thanks to snap-on chocks. This means that you are able to ensure a flat, stable surface, even after variations in the substrate or the pavers have been factored in. You can adjust the height in increments of 1 mm from 24 mm to 34 mm, or up to 150 mm if you use proprietary extenders.

How difficult is it to install polypads?

It’s easy to install polypads because, unlike traditional laying methods, they don’t need sand or a bedding layer. The pavers you lay can expand and contract without causing any damage to the substrate or waterproofing membrane. VersiPave® GP consists of a circular base divided into quadrants. Simply place the pavers on each VersiPave® GP and adjust the chocks to ensure each is level. Pavers don’t require any adhesive or grout so they are easy to install and remove.

What pavers can you use with VersiPave GP?

You can use VersiPave® GP with most pavers including granite, marble, precast concrete, and porcelain. PolyPads are ideal to use with 20 mm porcelain tiles since porcelain is exceptionally strong, hardwearing, fade-resistant, slip-resistant, and they won’t stain or scratch.

When you’re installing paving, you want strength, practicality and a great aesthetic result. Polypads can help you achieve all of this. For exceptional flooring that will easily cope with the intended traffic conditions for years to come, get in touch with us.

Paving Supports – Polypads

Elmich offers quality adjustable paver supports that make quick and easy install pavers and porcelain tiles.  The structural integrity of your floors depends on the type and quality of support materials you use. If you’re installing slabs, tiles, or even podium decks and other surfaces, you need to have a well-drained supportive flooring. At Elmich, we make your floor support highly reliable.  Backed by a 25yr Product warranty

What is a Polypad?

When we talk of polypads, they are adjustable paving supports that are used to suspend pavers and porcelain tiles..The pedestals allows for a level threshold from inside to out. These adjustable supports are becoming popular flooring options in today’s construction. The supports are durable and possess good strength to allow an efficient and reliable level surface of the floor. The polypads may be adjusted to various up to 1m. The base plates are flat and have drainage channels on the underside allowing for effective drainage. The Pedestals are laid loose over the waterproof membrane so there’s no chance of damage to the waterproof membrane.

The Benefits of Polypads

Using a polypad helps speed up the floor installation and reduces the complexity of installing and laying pavers within commercial and residential properties. They come in adjustable sizes to ensure an even and uniform surface that accommodates different variations in the thickness of the pavers.

Adjustable polypads work with different types of paving and flooring materials including natural stone, precast concrete pavers, marble, and porcelain tiles. The supports allow sufficient drainage to help get rid of any water that pools on the surface via open joints. Also, these supports help conceal plumbing as well as electrical wiring that is installed under the flooring material. There is no efflorescence on the surface of tiles and tiles can easily be replaced, most importantly easy access to the waterproofing membrane if repairs are needed.

If you want to overcome the challenges associated with floor maintenance, especially with traditional laying methods, you may want to opt for polypads. These adjustable supports don’t require a bedding layer. This way, there is easy expansion and contraction of floor pavers without the risk of damaging the membrane or substrate.

Polypads have the highest compressive strength in the industry while being lightweight, they can work with all types of constructions whether industrial complexes, multi-storey commercial buildings, age care facilities or residential buildings. They also feature various design options to suit your paving and flooring needs.

At Elmich, we provide you with a range of adjustable polypads that you can use to install your pavers and flooring surfaces.  Buy from Elmich and get your floor surfaces installed properly with even surfaces.

Where to Use Our Polypads

You can use our range of polypads in the outdoor rooftop area, exhibition spaces, outdoor podium areas, courtyards and anywhere else where you a paving over a waterproof membrane.  You can also fit the polypads in swimming pool surrounds, internal podium areas, balconies, verandas, and internal pedestrian access floors. They provide durable and safe-to-walk-on pedestrian surfaces within your property.

VersiScape™

What is VersiScape™

VersiScape™ is engineered to provide a raised substructure with the strength and stability to create a customisable and safe landscape.

The system constructs a leveled surface that accommodates virtually any landscape finish, from pavers to ceramic tiles of varying size, and minimum thickness of 20mm. Freedom to design does not stop there as it can support artificial turf, gravel-fill, or any other artificial landscape without exceeding raised floor deflection limits.

In the event of accidental tile breakage, the system is able to withstand the weight of broken shards and human loads. This prevents injury to pedestrians and simplifies the maintenance of the broken finishes.

VersiScape™ is a game changer, VersiScape Panels can accommodate for small offcuts against the perimeter walls preventing see-saw effect with small pavers.

Can VersiScape™ panels under Porcelain pavers help to improve Acoustics?

Independent testing shows by using the VersiScape panels, it reduced the sound reduction by 26 decibels.

*VersiScape™ is designed to be used together with VersiJack® height-adjustable pedestals.
