To provide a high strength porous grid structure to contain scoria infill and to withstand the weight of cars on verge parking areas. The system was specified over turfed stabilization due to permanent water restrictions and the ongoing maintenance requirement for turfed areas.
Solution
TurfPave positioned onto 100 mm compacted gravel and infilled with scoria provides stable porous vehicle parking areas. The installed areas are aesthetically pleasing and allow rainwater to infiltrate into the compacted base below as opposed to impermeable surfaces that result in run-off and associated management problems.
